Unbeknownst Neighborhood Cat Feeder Delightfully Swindled Into Adoption By Local Stray Cat

Every so often, it is not the human that adopts the cat, rather it is the cat that adopts the human. Such is the case for the original poster of this delightful Reddit thread who inadvertently took responsibility for a stray cat by letting it into his house and feeding it. Reddit users everywhere chimed in with their own silly anecdotes and opinions. 

Cats in general are known for taking a while to warm up to their humans and they tend to be very cautious creatures, but those strays are hungry and can easily be swayed in your direction with a little food. There's this totally unjustified stigma out there that cats don't actually love their humans, but every single cat owner knows otherwise. Cats can be incredibly affectionate. They just have their own weird ways of expressing it. We hope the original poster of this thread and his new cat get along splendidly until the end of their days! At some point wild cats saw humans as the gullible suckers we are and used their adorable cuteness and small furry bodies as a way to entice us to take care of them in exchange for a few caught mice. Cats developed meowing as a communication towards humans. Meowing is something they don't do with each other past kitten hood; so basically cats see human
